HOTS Ballistic Beach… Gazing out on the snowy landscape during a brutally cold Maryland morning, HOTS thoughts drifted away to warm, sundrenched beach destinations: Bora Bora, Maui, North Korea. eTurboNews reports the “tourist city” of Wonsan Kalma, a large resort on the east coast of the North Korea, will begin to welcome guests in June, according to government officials. The resort complex consists of approximately 150 hotels, dining establishments, and attractions that are currently under construction along a roughly three-mile stretch of Myongsasimni Beach. “A special feature of the resort complex is the view of the missile test site where ballistic missiles are tested,” the article said. You can’t find that in the Caribbean or French Riviera. HOTS has had a blast during various trips to the shore, but it has never gone ballistic.
