Brand USA Thanks World Cup Visitors and Encourages them to Return with “More to Love” Social Series… Brand USA has unveiled “More to Love,” an all-new social-first series featuring John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” The initiative thanks international fans who visited the United States during the FIFA World Cup while inviting them to return and experience more of the nation.
“The World Cup created an extraordinary opportunity to showcase the energy, authenticity and welcoming hospitality of the United States,” said Fred Dixon, President & CEO of Brand USA. “Insights from our AI-enabled trip planning hub showed that fans wanted to experience much more than the matches, planning road trips between host cities and visits to national parks as part of their journeys. ‘More to Love’ builds on that interest by thanking travelers for coming, reminding them how much remains to be discovered and inviting them back to explore even more, from all 50 states, five territories, and the District of Columbia, to our 63 national parks and the extraordinary landscapes and landmarks that distinguish our nation.”
The social series includes one static post and three videos across Brand USA’s consumer social media channels. Brand USA boosted the content with paid amplification across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom and Ireland.
“Some of the most memorable moments of the tournament came directly from fans, whose posts captured the excitement, surprise, and hospitality they experienced across the United States,” said Leah Chandler, CMO of Brand USA.
She added the series is Brand USA’s way of thanking our nation’s visitors for sharing those moments while reminding them their journey through the nation is just beginning.
Airlines for America Comments on Potential Daylight Savings Time Changes… Last month, Airlines for America (A4A) issued the following statement warning about changes to Daylight Savings Time. (DST).
“Changes to existing Daylight Savings Time (DST) would have considerable implications for aviation, including passenger disruption, crew and aircraft positioning, and domestic and international connectivity issues. Airlines operate expansive interconnected domestic and global networks that are reliant on stability and predictability. Any changes would need an implementation timeline that reflects these global complications.”
The House of Representatives passed the Sunshine Protection Act 308-117 on July 14, which would make DST permanent, NBC News reported.
ASA Launches ASA PLUS… The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) has launched ASA PLUS, a new personalized, on-demand video platform, powered by Evermed, that provides anesthesiologists unlimited access to ASA’s conference education and exclusive original content. ASA PLUS is now available as a year-round subscription for ASA members and non-members.
The new platform includes a modern interface with curated playlists, AI-powered personal recommendations, and seamless access across desktop, mobile, and tablet. Anesthesiologists earn continuing medical education (CME) while they watch and ASA PLUS automatically tracks those credits.
“ASA PLUS represents a significant step forward in how we deliver value and convenience to our members and the broader anesthesiology community,” said Dr. Patrick Giam, ASA President. “We know today’s anesthesiologists require education that fits the demands of their day-to-day lives. ASA PLUS gives them the depth and quality only ASA can offer, available whenever and wherever they need it.”
