Barbara Biffi

Barbara Biffi is now Chief Brand Officer at Kempinski Hotels. Biffi will lead the strategic overhaul of Kempinski’s brand and marketing. Biffi brings more than two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, brand leadership, technology innovation and digital strategy to the role. Most recently, she was the senior vice president global sales at Silversea, a luxury cruise line. She previously was a vice president for the brand.

 

Leila Preyer

Leila Preyer is now Vice President of Sales for the Americas of dailypoint, a provider of guest loyalty solutions for the hospitality industry. Preyer brings a decade of experience in hospitality, including leadership roles at Planet and iVvy, where she introduced solutions helping hotels optimize operations and drive growth. Based in Atlanta, she’ll oversee business development across North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.

Patrick Short

Patrick Short has been named TPG Hotels & Resorts’ President & COO. He returns to TPG Hotels & Resorts, where he previously served as the vice president of operations. Short brings more than 30 years of hospitality experience spanning north of 25 brands and all hospitality sectors. As president of Peachtree Hospitality Management, Short expanded its portfolio from 27 to 100 hotels and more than 10,000 rooms.

Austin Hulse

Austin Hulse is now Director of Growth at Singlepane, a platform designed for hotel owners and asset managers to unify financials, operational insights, and asset workflows. Hulse will direct Singlepane’s growth and manage client success to help owners adopt and deploy the company’s technology quicker and in a more impactful manner. He brings more than a decade of experience at Expedia, Amadeus, Mews, Revinate and Numerator.

Michael Purcell

Michael Purcell has joined Inn-Flow as CFO. Inn-Flow is a provider of accounting, labor, and operations technology solutions purpose-built for the hospitality industry. Based in Raleigh, N.C., Inn-Flow will be opening a new office location in the coming months with larger facilities. He previously worked for Clover United LLC., MaxPoint and Stifel Financial Corp. He holds degrees from both the University of Colorado and New York University.

Becky Cooper

Becky Cooper is now CallTek’s Talent Acquisition Manager. The technology service provider, which has hospitality clients, is located in Irvine, California. Cooper began her recruiting career in higher education before transitioning into talent acquisition for a contact center and management roles in hospitality. She holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and earned an MBA from Perdue Worldwide.
